Trump has been driving ratings and thus cash into the accounts of MSM for years, this is one of the big reasons we suffer from the Trump Fever.

Good. The dems need a strong showing with their candidates. We need policy ideas that seriously address income inequality among a thousand other things. Gerrymandering, cyber-security, trying to outright steal elections. Ethics, taxes, infrastructure, clean water. There is no reason the supposed richest and best country on earth should have less for all people regardless of income. I'm sick of hearing how great we are, show us. Let me go out on a very short limb here, the R's will oppose anything that upsets the status quo so get ready for all the usual blather.

Look, I will take just about any Dem over Trump because they can only get so much accomplished in light of congress (hence I wasn't so worried about Bernie despite disliking certain big things about his policies). But, I'd really REALLY prefer more of a center-left type. Not only is that where I tend to end up on average if I ever have occasion to discuss my own views here, but the current turbulent state within each party raises the possibility (admittedly low) of fractures between each wing leading to a situation where the governing coalition ends up being center-right and center-left, with some but not overwhelming influence from the fringes: the ideal situation.

Not surprised CNN isn't even pretending to be unbiased anymore.

But good to see so many people got to see Harris declare she is going to get rid of people's private health insurance so they can see just how much of a socialist nutjob she is. But I'll give her this - at least she isn't taking the Obama path of pretending you'll get to keep your doctor and insurance if you like it....

Wonder who else she's going to sleep with to get a leg up (heh) on the competition in 2020.

I hope she runs. She can promise "A turd on every sidewalk", "Homeless on every corner", and a "drinking straw ban". Not to mention being pimped out by Willie Brown in exchange for meeting the right people. She is up to her neck in dirt. As part of the Kavenaugh treatment, she will get a double does of her own. She is going to have to answer for that.
