Harris slams Republican Agenda

AH, that pesky Project 2025 wish list from the Heritage Foundation. When the election is over, if Trump wins, Project 2025 will go into the file cabinet to keep company with their prior versions, such as their “Mandate for Leadership” and “Solutions 2020,” and before that their "Solutions 2016" AH Kamala, just when I thought she might be a little bit different from her caricatures. Here is the official Republican Party Platform she needs to attack with forceful rationality:

  1. SEAL THE BORDER, AND STOP THE MIGRANT INVASION
  2. CARRY OUT THE LARGEST DEPORTATION OPERATION IN AMERICAN HISTORY
  3. END INFLATION, AND MAKE AMERICA AFFORDABLE AGAIN
  4. MAKE AMERICA THE DOMINANT ENERGY PRODUCER IN THE WORLD, BY FAR!
  5. STOP OUTSOURCING, AND TURN THE UNITED STATES INTO A MANUFACTURING SUPERPOWER
  6. LARGE TAX CUTS FOR WORKERS, AND NO TAX ON TIPS!
  7. DEFEND OUR CONSTITUTION, OUR BILL OF RIGHTS, AND OUR FUNDAMENTAL FREEDOMS, INCLUDING FREEDOM OF SPEECH, FREEDOM OF RELIGION, AND THE RIGHT TO KEEP AND BEAR ARMS
  8. PREVENT WORLD WAR THREE, RESTORE PEACE IN EUROPE AND IN THE MIDDLE EAST, AND BUILD A GREAT IRON DOME MISSILE DEFENSE SHIELD OVER OUR ENTIRE COUNTRY -- ALL MADE IN AMERICA

A good campaigning speech which she read well. I think the rest of the world (that's me) would expect Harris to be an OK sort of president.

Does not seem to matter to the bookies, does it? The odds makers give Trump a 68% probability of winning. According to Vegas Insider, election odds for winning the election are:
  • Donald Trump 1/4
  • Joe Biden 5/1
  • Kamala Harris 10/1
If they're right, Democrats best look for someone other than Biden or Harris to carry their flag.
 
She had some really good points. Her voice is really hard to listen too.

She speaks pretty well in spite of that though.

Kind of really hoping Biden steps aside and she runs for president.
 
It is not the bookies who decide the odds. They respond to the number of bets made. If a lot of people started betting on Biden, say, his odds would decline and those on Trump and Harris - in your example . go up accordingly.

The idea that bookmakers make their own guesses about future events when setting odds is a wide spread misconception.
 
I won't argue that different services report variations in the lines they provide. That's really immaterial. The novelty is that they all project Trump as the probable winner by a wide margin, such as these preconvention speech odds:
  • Donald Trump, former President (-250)
  • Kamala Harris, Vice President (+250)
  • Joe Biden, President (+1000)
Historically, betting services have accurately predicted presidential elections about 77% of the time. (Do Betting Odds or Polls Accurately Predict the Presidential Election Often?)

Wouldn't know until she is president, she may never be. What I do know is she is really jazzing up the female vote right now as we think about it the prospect of it.

After what most women feel was a rape of our reproductive rights in this country, and a continued ignorance of how big a deal it is, we feel the need for someone who can identify with our pain, and go to great lengths to right the wrong. We've been harmed, and want a young, aggressive, intelligent fighter in our corner. She fits that profile like a glove! The men running treat it as if it will just go away, it's not going away, it's only gotten worse.

It's time for the prosecutor to shed light on our suffering!
