Harris on Indianapolis shooting: 'This violence must end'

Vice President Harris on Friday called for an end to gun violence in the wake of yet another mass shooting after eight people were killed at a FedEx facility in Indianapolis.

"Yet again we have families in our country that are grieving the loss of their family members because of gun violence," Harris told reporters as she greeted Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga. "There is no question that this violence must end and we are thinking of the families that lost their loved ones."

President Biden is expected to address the shooting later on Friday, Harris said. Biden has been briefed on the shooting.

A gunman killed eight people and injured several others at the FedEx facility in Indianapolis. Authorities have yet to determine a motive for the shooter, who they say killed himself at the scene.

The first thing to do is for the Dems to get out a stronger, coherent, message against the Reps and for avg American oriented policy that connects with people and has them voting Dem up and down the ticket, combined with protection of voter access, increased registration and get-out-the-vote. Reps have been over-messaging the Dems and making visceral connection with voters for many yrs. My gawd, the Dems are dumb.

It was a speech about gun violence.

If you have some inner need for her to talk about every political issue that you want her to talk about in every speech she ever makes, unlike any politician in the history of any country on any planet in the history of this universe, or any other universe, then by all means, let's raise the standard for this particular politician.
