Pigs can be as friendly, and with as much personality, as dogs. Many people actually have pet pigs. It's really sad that we eat them without even thinking about that.

To be clear, I was being jokingly flippant. I actually rather do worry about whether I should be eating pork. They really are quite intelligent. And there's always cows and chickens, each of which is quite stupid.
