My friends have told me to avoid the area of Westmount near NDG, really sketchy area. I do not often leave downtown so I have no idea, I am actually going to leave the island for the first time while I have been living here.

I felt that it was like 99% similar to the US haha. Although each city has unique things to see. I love when I'm able to visit.

There is a reason we call Notre Dame de Grace "No D**n Good".
But it is relatively cheap.
Lived there for a while when at University. They are cleaning it up a bit and there are some nice areas now.
