And as usual blacks are offended and victims of racism

But when blacks do the n-word every day to other blacks then it's just ok

Hypocrites!

I respectfully disagree.

If that word is used by the ethnicity under discussion, it is not "racist." It is just playful banter. Or maybe even harsh criticism.

But other ethnicities should not use that word, for it is hurtful coming from them and should be prohibited.

For example, I have noticed that some gay people proudly use the word "queer," but non-gay people would be wrong to use that word, IMHO.

Unsure why you are so incapable of understanding this, you do not get to remove history when making some lazy argument today.

The origin of the "n-word," application, and intention is impossible to confuse. Someone black using the term has very little possible association to someone white using the term, an insulting and demeaning word in context. Someone black has every reason to be sensitive to someone white using the term, and odds are that would be rooted in prejudice for the purpose of being insulting.

It is not necessarily nor always "ok" when someone black uses the term, it has meaning in other contexts between people that are black anyway, but that does not mean it is possible for it to be okay for someone white to use the term. Classic literature still runs into this problem.

We know prejudices and racism exists, you arguing that a term upsets the balance or is in some way hypocritical purposefully ignores the issue and gives you no victory.
