A plume of oil some 700 feet thick and at least 22 miles long has been detected deep beneath the Gulf of Mexico. It originated at the Deepwater Horizon blowout and consists of hydrocarbons from the well, according to measurements released Thursday.

I have only one statement to make here.

President Obama - Stop lying to us.

Article is here.

He never claimed that the job was done and there was no oil left in the gulf.

"Our job is not finished... and we're not going anywhere until it's finished..."

Is this a special magic oil which isn't less dense than water?

If it's deep enough, the pressure of the water might keep it down there.
