Can we please disable guest voting? It totally skews polls to see 130 votes for something, and we can't gauge the community's real opinions.

This is why you check the see who voted option when you make a poll and later you can click on the numbers to see who voted for what. Guest voting is only available in the poll forum section.

If you want to know what registered members of the community think, just count the number of actual registered members who voted for each option.

7 posters voted for Obama, 14 voted for Bush, and so on.

vauge has stated before that the guest voting option is one of the main drivers of traffic and membership for the site. People browse around, vote in a few polls, and then end up joining as members. If you really want to have a poll that only members can vote in, start the poll somewhere outside the "Polls" forum.
