I thought everyone knew this.. /shrug. Womens standing in the islamic world is dictated by tradition and not so much by Islam, but Islam gets most of the blame and is used to justify the treatment of women. As I have always said, the key to winning the culture war is to free the women of the islamic world from the male domination.

For the record, women in christian countries were treated exactly the same if not worse during the 12th to 19th centuries (and before the 12th century) and considering that the muslim world in most areas is basicly still in the 15th century, then this treatment is not that big of a shocker. Also women were not exactly equals the last century either.. ever seen the "propoganda" of how to be a good wife from the 50s and 60s? Talk about male chauvanisme.

This is the norm throughout the Middle East. This is also a very dangerous contribution to religous terrorism. At the heart of a religious terrorist (in any religion) is a man who is nursing his ego and his sexist views towards people he can control. The majority of all religious terrorists have personal problems with women. They are unable to maintain a healthy relationship and they choose to celebrate traditions that would encourage their subordinate role. From Islamic terrorist organizations to traditionally Islamic ethnic locales, we encounter commonalities involving the roles of their women. One could easily argue that the "War on Terror" is actually a mission to free the women.

Ever hear of a happily married terrorist?

What is horribly irresponsible is how people rush to defend such activity as some sort of approved event because it is their "culture" or to defend their actions today by bringing up Christian activity centuries ago. The absolute worst is people's willingness to sooth the rage against wide spread hate preach in the Middle East by producing the insignificant and dismissed words of a single Pat Robertson. It is of great assistance that we understand the religious past to understand the religious present, but not as a simple tool for exhoneration. Some will go as far as to dismiss this truth by creating an illusion that those darned Zions are at some sort of evil play. The hypocrisy of the Global Left will have them ignore such things until America get's involved. Then we get to hear about the "American vicitms." It's pathetic.

While you may consider his argument weak, you should not forget that it carries a huge merit. Muslims are among the biggest hypocrites in existence today.

Most Muslims, especially those from the middle east, are unevolved barbarian assclowns who have failed to develop further then the Neanderthal stage. They're religion is ancient, barbaric, and completely inapplicable in the modern era. As such, all Muslim theocracies must be held accountable for their actions.

I suggest:

(1) Expelling all representatives from non-evolved Muslim countries from the
USA.

(2) Applying blanket economic sanctions on non-evolved Muslim countries,
which will end the day Islam and government are two separate bodies.

Of course, this is a just a starting point and there is much more that can be done to force (yes, force, because the mindless barbarians there cannot be reasoned with) the islam-o-animals to pull their heads out of their asses and get with the bloody program.
