Monstrous war crimes by Putin. World response limited by nukes, turn to sanctions. Sanctions' effectiveness needs to not have countries replacing losses, unanimity. West sacrificing Russian oil. So, who's going to say 'who care about Ukraine, sell us that oil'? Well, maybe China, but now it looks like India is willing to. The second biggest population, another big polluter, another autocrat. Inida has refused to condemn the war on Ukraine.
