What a piece of ****.
Grandson stole grandmother's jewelry to get tattoos, police say
PORT RICHEY - He did it for the tattoos.
That's what 20-year-old Michael A. Watts told Pasco County Sheriff's Office deputies was the reason he stole from his grandmother.
Watts was arrested Tuesday at his home at 7015 Nova Scotia Drive on a charge of grand theft.
Pamela Watts noticed jewelry started disappearing in May around the same time her grandson, Michael, moved in with her, a Pasco sheriff's office report states. As the list of missing items grew to include 20 14-karat gold bracelets, 13 sets of 14-karat gold hoop earrings, a herring bone 14-karat gold necklace and a half-carat diamond, the 61-year-old grandmother started noticing her grandson coming home with more and more tattoos.
Finally, on Tuesday, she called deputies. Pamela Watts told deputies she thought it was "odd" because Michael Watts didn't have a job and had little money at the time. In fact, she told deputies, Michael Watts had already been arrested in 2009 for pawning some of her jewelry.
