Democrats have added one more name to their extensive pro-sexual predator legacy: Ted Strickland (D) Ohio.

This would be the legacy they preferred NOT to talk about while hysterically, BASELESSLY demanding the resignation of Dennis Hastert for not knowing about some dirty Instant Messages sent by another Congressman to a page.

http://news.enquirer.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20061018/NEWS01/610180374

-Like most Democrats, NAMBLA (North America Man-Boy Love Association) has applauded the voting record of Strickland (D)...enough said.

-At a recent Gubernatorial debate, 3 police reports were disclosed which verified that Strickland (D) covered up the fact that one of his aides was arrested for exposing himself to a child.

Excerpt from the above link: "On the police reports, Blackwell's campaign blacked out names, a license number, date of birth and the Social Security number associated with the man who was arrested for exposing himself to children in 1994. The man later pleaded guilty to a fourth-degree misdemeanor...During Monday's debate, Blackwell asked Strickland, when he found out, why he didn't do a background check and why he covered it up."

-Strickland then went on a vacation to Europe...not with his wife...but with the convicted pervert.

Again, from the above article: "Strickland went on a post-1998 campaign vacation with the once-convicted aide to Italy."

Naturally, Democrats are defending Ted Strickland (D) the same way they defended Gerry Studds (D), Barney Frank (D), Mel Reynolds (D), Bill Clinton (D)...you know, all the predators who've actually hurt people, rather than just sending dirty emails?

This is, after all, the same Democrat Party that:

1) Opposes Megan's Law,

2) Opposes Jessica's Law,

3) Supports groups like the ACLU that...

-have taken nearly every state to court to remove sex offender registrations,

-defends NAMBLA free of charge,

-calls their "Rape and escape" manual "free speech," rather than "accessory to child molestation,"

-argues in court that 12 year old boys have a constitutional right to sleep with men,

-and is on a crusade to force the Boy Scouts to put gay men in charge of little boys in the woods alone.

Democrats are the pro-predator lobby. THIS is why conservatives have been so outraged at their phony indignation over Dennis Hastert's failing psychic abilities.

Re: Another Democrat Protects Another Predator

Ted Strickland is a great guy and a personal friend of my family. He'll be a great governor; I already voted for him by absentee ballot and I can't wait until he buries that asshole Ken Blackwell in a landslide. If you're implying that he's some kind of child molester...I'll just say that that is totally ridiculous, and refrain from calling you the expletives you deserve.

Translation: "I met a politician once, therefore he must be a decent fellow." :notlook:

Child molester or not, he defends and aids child molesters like a good little Democrat.

I'd rather not go into details on how I know him. Continuing on...

How is having this guy on the payroll "defending and aiding child molesters"? If the guy followed through with whatever his sentence was, and if his job didn't put him into contact with kids, what exactly is the problem?

I was once in his district-my area (MASON) has grown so fast we have been in three different districts. I think this is a sleazy attack on a decent guy but its to be expected given the crap the dems pulled over Foley.

there have been rumours Strickland is gay for several years now

Yeah, he sounds like a real prince of a fellow.

The title of this thread doesn't match the title of the linked article.

As to the story itself, the desperation of the Republicans has reached a fevered pitch. It's embarrassing that they feel they can stoop so low and get away with it. It's a risky tactic, and I suspect it will backfire.

Re: Another Democrat Protects Another Predator

How about some comments on the article, from the very people Blackwell is asking to vote for him.

Why would a Democrat defened and aid a Republican?

It does now. :2wave:

But aquapub, you've been around long enough to know the rules. They're there for a reason, and they are not merely suggestions.

Liberal mommy to the rescue!!

interesting story.

even more interesting that we dont have democrats in this thread condemning his actions.

there was definately no shortage of them in the Foley thread.

Strickland didn't try to pork a 16-year-old. Even comparing him to Foley is disgusting. I will condemn...you, Aquapub, and Ken Blackwell for promoting this sleazy story.

lmao.

facts are facts man. if you care to actually dispute any of the ones in the story let us know.

amazing. the very people condemning the cons for sticking up for foley (even when they werent doing so) are quick to defend this story.

HYPOCRISY knows no bounds.

What exactly are you claiming that Strickland did that was unethical or illegal?

lol.

im not going to debate whats in black and white man. if its your assertion that its simply not true....fine......

but im making my decisions on this thread the same way I made my decision in the Foley thread.

I READ THE INFORMATION PROVIDED.

I read the article...I'll ask again: What exactly are you claiming Strickland did that was unethical or illegal? I'll understand if you can't think of anything, as there's nothing there. But give it a shot, if you dare.

If you're going to compare him to Foley, perhaps you should at least be able to answer this most basic of questions. (I can tell you exactly what Foley did that was unethical and/or illegal.)

Thank you, Stace.

PA: Certainly, I will condemn Blackwell's actions! He has publicized information that was sealed by a court. Even discounting the sleaze factor, his actions are at the very least unethical, if not outright illegal. And you think that is just fine, right?

I'm waiting for someone to explain to me the part that even needs to be explained.

If it's so simple, then surely you can sum it up and it won't take you more than 30 seconds. What did Strickland do that was unethical/illegal?

Why do you keep avoiding this question if the answer is so simple?

Excellent question.

How about condemning Blackwell for his unethical/illegal actions, PA?

I repeat: I suspect that this tactic will backfire. The feedback on the article site appears to be overwhelmingly anti-Blackwell, even from people who identify themselves as Republicans. It's nice to see that some people are able to put partisanship aside and condemn sleaziness for what it is.

and CLEARLY some people are absolutely unable to do just that.

Do you plan on ever answering the question Kandahar asked, or condemning Blackwell? You seem to be afraid to do either.
