My big question is; How much do we know, and how much do the government know about this world, "ailiens" and so on? Area 51, we all heard about it, is it so that they are hiding supernatural creatures overthere? Do the government lie to us? Or do they only protect us? I think so. I mean, what if they told us "Aliens' created our world". All religious people would freak out, WW3 would probably be close and the world would just get insane. So, if they "hide" something from us, I think it's to "protect" us. But what I want to know is, Do they really hide something?? I guess I will never know, what do you think people?

I recall a nasa report made in the 70's regarding public reaction to being told about alien visitation. If memory serve me, it said that scientists would be the ones freaking out because reality will shatter things like evolution, the alleged impossibility of traveling faster than light, and similar; and religious folks would have the easiest time assimilating the news because aliens easily fall into the demon/Nefilim or "fiery chariot of the Lord" categories.

I'll look it up and post a link.

No a true scientist would be overjoyed to have all of that raw data and evidence to work with. Science is not dogma, and having a faster than light spaceship would mean that science would now say that matter can move faster than light. Anything tangible and that we can observe will never be discounted by a true scientist.
