you know, it's one thing for democrats to accuse republicans of being 'on the side of BP' after congresscritter bobo's outburst. but this and a few other instances (refusal to waive Jones Act, delay of original barrier islands, etc) make me wonder if the administrtion isn't on the side of the oil.
The federal government is shutting down the dredging that was being done to create protective sand berms in the Gulf of Mexico.
The berms are meant to protect the Louisiana coastline from oil. But the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Department has concerns about where the dredging is being done.
