We've had lots of amendments added to the Constitution. Obviously it can be done. People just have to be willing to work together and where necessary compromise.

Why are you trying to bring him into this? You have to realize those regimes were despicable, but they had in no way applied communism, unless they had no state, no money.. Yes, mass murders happened, it's horrible, but trying to blame it on communism is preposterous. Communism is simply a socio-economic system which puts forth common ownership of the means of production and the absence of social classes, money, and the state. You may be referring to methods used to attempt to apply this, which failed, I agree.

Why is it insane? It prevents potentially lethal situations for minors. I'm not that infuriated by illegal immigration.
