At this point you've heard that George W. Bush has nominated Gen. Michael Hayden to head the CIA after Porter Goss abruptly resigned last week. However, consumers of the corporate media probably do not know…
- Goss is linked to an unfolding scandal in which GOP members of Congress were bribed in part with hookers. More...

- Goss' primary roll at the CIA was to execute partisan purges on Bush/Cheney's behalf.

- Hayden is best known for illegally spying on Americans yet when pressed on "reasonable doubt" he said that it wasn't part of the Constitution.
- Hayden is also quite cozy with John "Death Squad" Negroponte…likely the biggest reason Bush picked him.

- Democrats AND Republicans are freaked out over this.

Much like FEMA, the runaway deficit, the disaster in Iraq, etc. the CIA has also been left in shambles after 5 years of Bush. The inmates have run the asylum for too long.

Not exactly. He is known to KNOW some of the people involved, but there have been NO allegations that he was involved. On whether or not simply "knowing" someone qualifies as "involved", read liberal moderator Kelzie's points on that...you libs really oughtta work from the same positions...it's more effective.
