If they were smart they would start moving back closer to the center where they would probably win 8 out of 10 contests. Biden didn't run four years ago because he was still grieving his son's death and didn't consider himself to be in a mental state fit to run. Especially since he had to make the decision in summer 2015 when his son passed away just some weeks before.

I know that is what he said, but I don't believe that. Biden has run for president more than once, he wants to be the president. And his best shot was 4 years ago, and while understanding the loss of his son, I guarantee you it was more about not wanting to be destroyed by Hillary.

Biden didn’t run because his son had died. He said so at the time.

It is odd though to claim that an uncrowded field in 2016 leading to an overcrowded field in 2020 shows evidence of an establishment that is able to “pick” who the candidate is.
