New here so hope I'm posting this in the right place (did not think it fit in the Breaking News - Non MSM forum).

Seems some members of the GOP are still firmly Retrumplicans even after their humbling defeat in the House. This GOP rep, Chris Stewart (R-UT), says that "Journalists disappear all over the country" and believes we need to ignore this as we need to do business with Saudi Arabia.

Problem here? He didn't just "disappear". He was killed by order of the MBS, and even now GOP Senators are coming out and admitting it.

Stewart is from UT. I'm not sure, but UT does not appear to be a die-hard Trump state, so why suck up to Trump on this one?

Saudi crown prince 'ordered, monitored' killing of Khashoggi, Corker says

Sen. Bob Corker, a Tennessee Republican who chairs the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, told CNN after a briefing with Haspel that the prince, known as MBS, "ordered, monitored, the killing" of the father of four. He "owns it," Corker told CNN.

"If he (MBS) were in front of a jury, he would be convicted of murder in about 30 minutes," Corker said.

Murder is ok, when it involves lots of money

The next question to ask is: What is the cut off point? What number of government sponsored killings of innocent civilians does a foreign government have to reach before the US decides to discontinue sending money to them? Would one more murder have qualified? What about one hundred? One thousand?

If we're going to be consistent and honest with ourselves, let's put a number on it.

Wouldn't be surprised to hear Trump watched that **** on his cell phone, livestreamed to him from the embassy.
