Eyeing a potential Congressional win in November, House Republicans are planning to chip away at the White House's legislative agenda—in particular the health-care law—by depriving the programs of cash.

The emerging plan has been devised in part to highlight the policy differences between the two main parties, especially over legislative achievements of the Obama administration that have proven unpopular with voters.

That's the spirit. Starve the beast the best you can, and set up for squashing it in 2013.

And people wonder why people call Republicans "The Party of No"

Finally!!!!

NO more socialism.

We've OD'd and the patient needs assistance.

BTW, I don't see Dems saying "YES" to the Republican agenda. Why is it we always have to bend over and hold the ankles... especially when the stuff is an assault on our rights and freedoms?

This is why many people say our government is broken. Instead of working with the party in power to make things better for the country, House Republicans are looking out for their own self-interest. It's all about the power grab, folks. Right now, the Republicans will say and do anything to regain that power even if it means distorting the truth or ramping up fear and anxiety.
