GOP’s Benghazi Committee just keeps going (and going)

“Remember the House Republicans’ Benghazi Committee? It was nearly six months ago that the GOP-led panel held a farcical, 11-hour hearing with Hillary Clinton, which only reinforced suspicions that the committee served no legitimate purpose.

That was October of last year. Believe it or not, the investigation still exists, and the panel’s Democratic minority issued a statement yesterday announcing the committee’s newest milestone.

[Thursday] marks the 700th day since the authorization of the Select Committee on Benghazi. During this time, Republicans have discovered no new evidence that contradicts the key findings of the previous bipartisan and independent investigations

“As House Republicans drag on their taxpayer-funded partisan attacks on Secretary Clinton closer and closer to the election, their actions have shockingly become even more partisan, secretive, and dysfunctional,” said Ranking Member Elijah Cummings.

I can appreciate why these totals may seem abstract, but to put this in context, the 9/11 Commission, investigating every possible angle to the worst terrorist attack in the history of the country, worked for 604 days and created a bipartisan report endorsed by each of the commission’s members.
The Benghazi committee is now on its 701st day, and even some congressional Republicans have admitted the panel is a partisan exercise, making it that much more difficult to justify its prolonged existence………….

It is my belief if Clinton wins in November…….
But the Democrats do not take the House…….
The Been-gone-zee Committee will continue thru HRC Presidency………

Before the Presidential campaign began common wisdom said the Democrats might have a chance to take over the Senate but the House was out of the question……..

But now with the tone and nature of the GOP campaign and the quality of those still in the race………..the most unpopular person to ever run for the office and the most hated man in D.C. whose only claim to fame is shutting down the government …………..

Things have taken a dramatic turn favoring the Democrats taking it all…………

That is a what if??

Well, what did you expect? I mean, it's not as if Hillary was told by the CIA that an attack by Osama Bin Laden seemed to be imminent and she told the CIA briefer, "Okay, you've covered your ass" (like Bush 43 did). 'Cause OBVIOUSLY Benghazi was worse than 9/11, and OBVIOUSLY she knew all about it all the time - I mean, who needs anything like facts or, you know, evidence? Hillary's married to Bill, and so she MUST be guilty of whatever the Republicans can think up!

NO WRONG DOING FOUND

... and yet the investigation continues .......hoping to uncover the wrong doing of HRC..........

There's no there there. guys.

I guess that it is nice that people complain about Benghazi. The bottom line is that Hillary has negligible accomplishments. She was a spouse, trained as a lawyer, got elected to the Senate due to being a spouse, little (nothing?) to show as Senate accomplishments, and managed to get hired as Secr of State. It is here, for the first time, she did something. She was behind the unforced error of Libya, a stable country without any US interests. After 8 months of a campaign that was supposed to last "days, not weeks", we helped get Khadalfi assassinated. "We came, we saw, he died", Hillary claimed. And then it was over. 8 months basically to assassinate a leader. The country is still in chaos, sending refugees to Europe and beyond. Her one accomplishment.
Since the Democratic operatives in the media aren't covering it perhaps these show trials have some impact.

AND NO WRONG DOING DISCOVERED[/B]

more to follow............

All of that, all those investigations...and how many prosecutable instances of wrongdoing by Hillary Clinton have been found?

ZERO.

But of course, y'all can't let little things like facts and complete lack of evidence ever make you think that maybe, just maybe she didn't do anything wrong. After all, she's Hillary, and that means she MUST be guilty....

well, what did you expect? I mean, it's not as if hillary was told by the cia that an attack by osama bin laden seemed to be imminent and she told the cia briefer, "okay, you've covered your ass" (like bush 43 did). 'cause obviously benghazi was worse than 9/11, and obviously she knew all about it all the time - i mean, who needs anything like facts or, you know, evidence? Hillary's married to bill, and so she must be guilty of whatever the republicans can think up!

GOP's Benghazi Committee just keeps going (and going) | MSNBC
