The word "idiot" has been searched for more than one million times, following testimony typing it into Google Images threw up pictures of President Trump.

The link between the two was mentioned during a congressional grilling of Google chief executive Sundar Pichai.

The Congressional hearing was investigating political bias in Google's search algorithms.

'According to Google Trends, "idiot" is currently the number one most searched for term in the US.' And produces a photo of Donald Trump.

There's a simple way to find out if google actually is gaming the search algorithm. Have an independent third party sign an NDA prohibiting them from revealing the actual code to examine the code and then report in generic terms whether or not it is rigged in a biased way.

Yeah, um, if Google wanted to hurt the current clown in the WH, there would be a lot more effective ways of doing so.

Obviously, their search engine associates certain words with certain items, and because of so many people calling Trump an 'idiot' all over the internet, the word is now associated with Trump.

The main claim isn't about Trump. But about a bias in the search algorithm against conservatives. Trump was just used as an example.

Conservatives believe everything out there is in someway biased against them: academia, science, media, music, social media, the FBI.

Even after Google eventually releases their code to dispel the accusations of bias, conservatives will continue in their victimhood anyways.
