Google Engineers Discussed Punishing Conservative Media After Trump's Victory

In the end, Google is a US company. A private entity, not a governmental one. No matter how much others may find it despicable they can alter their algorithms to whatever they please.

Google and other search engines were given exemption from libel lawsuits under the theory they do not censor or review anything - a protection newspapers, publications and the media does not have.

Google since has broken that deal. All exemptions for libel and slander should be eliminated as they are no longer truly "open" sources that they originally were.

Never question the Democratic Party kissing the ass of the super rich. Google and Amazon now are the richest corporations of the richest people on earth. Therefore you will find the Democratic Party - and accordingly many Democrats - will never do anything but defend them. The Democratic Party is for sale even cheaper than the Republican Party is.

The internet and social media needs be declared a public forum with full protections of your first amendment rights. Anything short of that and you will always get, well theyre a private company so they can censor you how every they like.

Google and other search engines (Bing excluded) to my knowledge do not produce news and or content in general (Youtube is starting to produce entertainment) Why would Google need to be exempt from Libel lawsuits if they are not producing the libel content, or for that matter hosting the libel content?
