I don't know where to post it or even if I should write it, but anyway...

I spent a lot of time on this forum. I talked to many people. That's cool, I saw that most of them had different points of views.

However.

There are 2 tribes here, the liberals and the conservatives. Most of them bash each other. No one convinces the other. They don't even seem to read the other's arguments. There is a very deep division and I'm not used to it.

I tried to explain my own point of view. Many of you disagreed, but that's not the problem. The problem, it's that I had the feeling to be fair, I tried to bring arguments, while the answers were always the same. When I tried to show that the USA were not perfect, I was "bashing the USA". When I showed statistics, they were simply ignored. When I showed external links, it was irrelevant. When I tried to explain myself, it was as if I was insulting everybody. There was nothing constructive.

Now I think I should give it up.

I was referring to todays incendiary bombs that are Napalm. There have been jelly spitting flame devices like you mention, and I guess that is were they were "invented". I wonder why MacNamara said that this was when it was invented then? Who cares! They enhanced it to the degree that they caused the Tokyo Fire Storms and destroyed millions of acres of prime Vietnamese jungle and native creatures.

He doesn't have hidden agenda's. He let's you know up front where he stands and doesn't apologize for that. In that respect, he's a pretty decent guy.
