I rented and watched a good documentary about Tom Delay's Texas for a Republican Majority PAC. I knew about Delay's indictment but was not aware of all the details. This documentary lays it all out. Delay pursued and accepted illegal donations from corporations and used them to take over the Texas State Government. He then had the districts redrawn to gain a majority in the Federal Government.

After seeing all the evidence, I believe Delay will definitely do prison time and I say he deserves it.

The name of the documentary is "The Big Buy." I got it at my local Blockbuster.

Don't tell me you're just finding out about this. Republican election manipulation is widespread in my humble opinion. Putting wedge issues on ballots that are meant to elect representatives, redistricting, it goes on.....

Needless to say their constituants aren't bothered by this. As long as their guy wins, fair play be damned. Hail Rove!:roll:

But the dem's don't have anything on the table with substance to offer either. The upcoming elections are their's to lose but I wouldn't be a bit surprised that they lose anyways. Buncha idiots. All of 'em.

Thanks for the tip. I'm glad to hear that Blockbuster is carrying it. My experience is that they carry very little political material.

I've heard several interviews with The Big Buy's producers. They're command of the facts in this case was commendable.

DeLay would probably be happy to do jail time, if his gerrymandering in Texas doesn't get overturned by SCOTUS. Then he can be a martyr for all time. :roll:
