I already answered this question and explained why global warming is supported by science (while "life begins at conception" cannot be supported by science). It's not a comparison,... but thanks.
The poll question basically comes down to "which is most supported (in your opinion) by scientific facts?" Life begins at conception or Global Warming?
I already answered this question and explained why global warming is supported by science (while "life begins at conception" cannot be supported by science).
You asked a question, but you ignored any direct answers to your question and refuse to support your assertion with facts. Why?
As you ignored my link from Princeton.
He ignored this:That's not a link from Princeton. It's from Princeton's pro-life student group.
Here is the parent directory :
Princeton Pro-Life

The majority of universities in America have pro-life student groups and don't issue official university opinions on such matters.
False. Life at conception is a spiritual argument and therefore cannot be "proven". From a biological perspective (which is the only one which matters in law), a fetus/embryo is not a human so it is fact that human life does not begin at conception.
It is also fact that man-made global warming exists to a certain degree, as has been established by science. So the discussion is now moot (if it had any point to begin with other than a strawman).
He ignored this:
But, the million dollar question is: is it constitutionally protected human life?
And the answer to that is: no, not until it's viable.
And this one has three. So it's important to know which of the three meanings he's referring to when he says that life begins at conception.
5. The sun rises and sets every day ( Fact or Opinion).
The quiz says fact. Wrong. The Sun doesn't actually rise or set. The Sun is stationary and the Earth rotates bringing the Sun into view and removing it from view.
It goes on...
The quiz needs to learn what a FACT is.
That's not even comparable. Human-caused global warming is either fact or not fact. When human life "begins" is a subjective matter of judgement.
Does that "organism" have the potential to become anything but a human?A organism is created by the merging of two other organisms at conception. That newly formed organism eventually drastically evolves until it is what we consider a human being.
The question is. When is this organism considered Human and not just the possibility of becoming Human?
Does that "organism" have the potential to become anything but a human?
Does that "organism" have the potential to become anything but a human?
There's only human dna involved, so it's always human.
Too right. Poor wording on my part. I should have said Homo sapien.
If you were going to "begin" a new homo sapien's life,... what is the first biological event that you would have to successfully achieve?
In short,.. "when does an individual homo sapien's aging process begin?"

The creation of sperm and the creation of the egg of the mother. Without those first steps there is no chance of conception.
So, an individual homo sapien's aging process begins when the sperm and egg are created?
Do you have any references to support this claim?
The fact that Mammal's are not Parthenogenetic. We require both an egg from a female and sperm from a male to reproduce. Without one of these things no reproduction can occur.

Right,... so when (if not at and by conception) does re-production occurr?

The process of reproduction starts at conception and takes months to complete. In the end, if all goes well, you have a Homo sapien.
So are you suggesting that a fertilized egg, a zygote, has constitutional rights?
From a sociological standpoint,....
Isn't it amazing the this thread is consumed and emotionally charged over the "beginning of life" side of my poll question,.... posts that get down to the tiniest and most technical details,....
But not a question one about the 'theories' of man made global warming.
Fascinating stuff!
