--The Republican Party is starting to crumble before our very eyes, including Rush Limbaugh saying that they "are outnumbered and are losing ground," Herman Cain calling for a third party, and Glenn Beck totally losing it, suggesting people buy farmland and guns and move away from people they disagree with politically.
It's not a bad idea to buy lots of guns and farmland to prepare for..................a zombie apocolypse
Hey, I detest Beck as much as his equivilents on the left, but that a good prescription for virtually any of the foreseeable futures.
To suggest that he went off his rocker again would suggest he was on his rocker at some point. I submit to you that Glen Beck is not, was not, and will never be on his rocker. So Glenn Beck has seemed to gone of his rocker again when talking about Obama.
Beck is the new chief spokesman for conservatism. His ruddy tear-stained face is the future of this doomed ideology.l

No, he's not, any more than say, Chomsky, is the chief spokesman of the left. You love to gild those lilies. Sad, and more than a little lame.

So Glenn Beck has seemed to gone of his rocker again when talking about Obama. Complains that Obama is "dividing America" while at the same time telling people from the East Coast to "get out of there.. and surround yourself with like minded individuals". Also everyone needs to buy guns and farmland. Why? Who knows? Supposedly because "Obama will regulate everything".
What a nut case.
The funny thing is, short of gathering enough in an area with some kind of strange hope to secede, this does nothing but actually SPEED UP the Republican fall (in terms of moving to areas away from those unlike you politically).
If you're advocating people move for political reasons, the more intelligent thing would be urging them to move TO states with people who don't think like they do politically...specifically swing type states. At least then you'd have the small chance of swinging the electoral population and gaining some additional electoral votes.
Having everyone run away from Virginia or Ohio or Iowa or such into deep red states doesn't do anything but actually speed up the Republican problems.
Maybe Beck was planning to use the guns to force illegal immigrants to work his farm, because a tea partier like Beck wouldn't know a spade from a shovel.

Thanks :2razz:
Posted a working link for you.
Come on now.... I betcha Beck can tell you exactly what he knows a spade to be.
Beck: "I don't know how we will survive, because I refuse to back down and Obama remembers his enemies":
What future do you see where it wouldn't be good to have farmland and guns?

I kinda expect that his next week’s sponsorship space has been picked up by a real estate developer selling vacation cottages in Tennessee.Well, I know the wealthiest people in poor countries (besides, of course the government and it's buddies) are the farmland owners. I guess you could say that's the point. Don't really get it though. If you think there's a communist conspiracy to conquer the country, any farmland you own will be confiscated anyways.
Actually, on second thought, I don't have any idea what he's talking about.
Let me remind you where your food comes from, hint: it's not the grocery store.
And those who have the place to grow their own will weather any future much better than your typical lockstep city dweller.
