On one hand you have 3 vaccines that are all highly effective at preventing severe COVID, hospitalizations from COVID, and deaths from COVID.

On the other hand, you have a malaria drug with significant side effects and a wormer with significant side effects. The kind of people that would forgo vaccination and instead put their trust in a malaria drug or wormer, are frankly, ****ing stupid people. The advice from the CDC is to get vaccinated, especially with certain comorbidities. The fact remains the highest rates in increase are the least vaccinated communities; those in hospital or dead are overwhelmingly unvaccinated - comorbidities or not.

I mean, if this is true, then it merely tells us that the un-vaccinated hog more healthcare resources. Which to me, is not enough reason to compel vaccination, which is serious violation of people's basic rights. Also, the main refrain in favor of vaccination is that it will "keep the community safe", however, even the CDC itself said that getting vaccinated will not stop the spread of covid. It will slow it down, somewhat, but not to any appreciable degree. And certainly not appreciable enough to justify mandating the vaccines.

A vaccine uses your immune system. That is the whole point of a vaccine. You generate antibodies to respond to a potential COVID infection and you have a B-Cell response once the antibodies go dormant. That's your immune system, its exactly why the vaccines work.

Man has been around for about 200,000 years. Average lifespans went from around 40 years to around 80 years in the last century and it's almost entirely due to vaccines and antibiotics.

As to long term effects, has there ever been a vaccine that triggered long term serious side effects when those side effects did not present within 2 months of getting the vaccine? Hint: There hasn't. Something like 2 billion people have been vaccinated so far. We know more about the COVID vaccines in use, then we do about any drug the FDA has ever approved. For example, your risks of a serious adverse effect from an over the counter NSAID is approximately 500 times higher than it is from either of the 3 vaccines in use in America. Yet I would imagine, you think nothing of taking a Ibuprofen or a Naproxen (Aleve).

These are literally some of the safest, most effective vaccines ever developed for any disease. If you are not vaccinated, you need to be for your own heath.
