I would like to know where the bible says it is murder. However, we are not a theocracy, so it should not matter what the bible says...but here we go.

The bible does not order the death penalty for the expulsion of a fetus, but does for the actual taking of life.

Who here is arguing religion as their reason?

For me the issue is clear. The Mother did not get pregnant by accident. Even the woman being raped knows a lot about birth control and has no laws preventing her from using it.

Pregnancy is an option. Murder is not.

So, pray tell, why would an 11 year old be using birth control, just in case her father rapes her? Sorry, but no and no...if the child cannot survive outside of the womb on their own, the mother has the choice and you do not get to make that choice unless you are going to transplant the womb into yourself and carry the child to term.

Learn some truths before you spout nonsense. Murder and abortion have always been options and 50% of pregnancies are the result of failure of birth control.

I'm assuming that your comment about women using contraceptives to prevent pregnancy from rape are inadvertently and not deliberately hilarious.

Someone who has a policy that generates 200,000+ dead people is hardly likely to be overly concerned about saving children or your God.

And thanks for permission to continue with a policy called pro-choice. You are welcome to join since not getting an abortion is most certainly one of the choices people can make.

How would you know? You have no idea what anyone’s personal situation may or may not be. The US has thousands of unwanted children waiting to be saved and loved.
