Imagine for a moment what the Republicans would say if the spouse of a Supreme Court Justice nominated by a Democrat joined in a conspiracy..to overthrow a free and fair American election. Imagine she or he was part of a conspiracy to launch a violent, shock-and-awe attack on the Capitol in its furtherance. An attack that led to lives lost, our Capitol desecrated.

Imagine their response as she was discovered in the days leading up to the attack to be texting and emailing a Democratic White House Chief of Staff, encouraging him to illegally overturn the election and promote lurid conspiracy nonsense. Now imagine her husband was the sole vote to protect the losing President from scrutiny. I'll tell you what they'd do.They'd burn Washington to the damn ground.They'd salt the earth.They'd call for sanctions, impeachment, removal.
Their powerful media apparatus would turn it into a 24/7 scandal story that would never ever disappear. Facebook would amplify (and monetize!) a million pages calling for the removal of said Justice.

They'd hold hearings and drag every person involved before them...in a televised Great Spectacle. It would become a centerpiece of their messaging for ages. It would be a drumbeat about the corruption of the opposing party.It would motivate no end of earnest op-eds from the gentry media.

The GOP silence now is telling. They've become masters are working the media refs. This isn't a trivial little scandal. It's real, it stinks, and it's outrageous.

Ocasio-Cortez calls on Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas to resign

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) said Tuesday that Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas should resign after it emerged that his wife had pressed the Trump White House in text messages to try to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election.

“If not, his failure to disclose income from right-wing organizations, recuse himself from matters involving his wife, and his vote to block the Jan 6th commission from key information must be investigated and could serve as grounds for impeachment,” Ocasio-Cortez tweeted.

Ocasio-Cortez’s call for Thomas to resign — as well as her raising the prospect an impeachment effort — goes further than most other Democrats have in their demands for Thomas to recuse himself from cases involving the 2020 election or the Jan. 6, 2021, insurrection after certain texts from his wife came to light last week. Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) also has said Thomas should be impeached.

The texts by Virginia “Ginni” Thomas, a conservative activist and lawyer by training, revealed that she had reached out to then-White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows multiple times in the weeks after the 2020 election, pushing the baseless claim that the election had been stolen and urging Trump officials not to accept the results. At the time, President Donald Trump and his allies had vowed to take their efforts to overturn the election results to the Supreme Court.

This is the TDSers newest faux outrage. Keep the eye on the "Trumpist cult" and off of Joe Biden's lousy approval rating as we head toward the midterms.

Trix all their outrages of Trump or any of his supporters continues is because their man and his policies have been a total disaster. So, they do not want to cover Joe Biden but continue to try and cancel Trump and anyone who was associated with him. This is why the Hunter Biden story is not being covered in the Alphabet media. However, the person who broke the story is saying this story which proves emails that are authentic that Joe Biden while VP Biden used his office for monetary gain.

People are not as stupid as the Democrats hoped for. They are not interested in all this hyperbole they have created over Jan. 6th. They realize that this too has become political. The over, over whelming majority that attended that rally were appalled over the behavior of a few on that day. Right now they are focused on trying to find a way to fill their vehicles, pay their utilities, or put food on the table due to Biden's policies that created this situation. Hubby and I are on a fixed income and my gas bill first increased 35 bucks a month at the end of last year. Then this month it went up an additional 20 bucks on the budget plan. My grocery bill has almost doubled. My state taxes went up. My real estate taxes went up. Make America poor again is appropriate. Hubby and I can handle it. A lot of people especially those with families can not.

The majority that wanted the troops to come home from places like Afghanistan did not approve how Biden handled it. And the majority are totally disgusted over Biden's handling of our own borders that he has opened up for all. And every state in the union is paying dearly for it hence our real estate and state taxes taking a hike upward.

The Democrats know they are going to get shellacked in the midterms because of their policies.
