I've had three Moderna shots since this all began. The original set of two to start, then a booster late last year.

Today I'm getting the Bivalent Booster, which will be the Pfizer recipe.
It's been almost 11 months since my last booster.

Hopefully the side-effects will be minimal.

Since I'm getting stuck, might as well get the 2022 Flu shot too.

Happy Monday Y'all.

Took me all weekend to get back to a semblance of normal. Unlike the other boosters, which came on all at once, this crept up and lingered.

For me - other than a sore arm, my DNA changing, and becoming magnetic everything went just fine.

I guess those results are within the range of typical for a female.
I haven't had any sore arms yet, but my first booster late last year gave me a third testicle, so I'm looking forward to my next one and hoping it balances out the two sets.

that'll cause hip problems.

My wife and I had the same shots last week. For 3-4 days, felt like someone slipped us a lazy pill. Much better today
Lazy I can handle. Just hoping it's nothing worse. I think it was after the first shot I felt the worst. Each shot after that was less bothersome.

Just wondering since it's been so long since last shot if I'm basically going to be starting over again.

But it's all worth it, because now you have less chance of catching the covid cold. And if you do catch it, the symptoms might be less than if you didn't get the booster. Let's face it, the more mRNA vaccines we get the better. You can never have too much synthetic mRNA in your vital organs.

No, it's worth it because my wife is on several immunosuppressants, is often very ill, some days barely being able to walk, and while I am almost certainly as asshole, I'm not the kill-your-wife-for-politics kind of mother****er currently plaguing up our country. Are you?

I got mine a few weeks ago. I was at the pharmacy yesterday and there were 3 people lined up to get the shot.

It is worth it.

Same here, we do it for ourselves and our loved ones.

And yes, the anti vax people are completely insane, to hell with them.

I hope your wife gets better.

pllp pllp pllp

You forgot to mention the possible benefit of gaining the power of magnetism.

Stop spreading this ignorant bullshit.

I got it because it is the right thing to do, and my mate is currently going through some rough chemotherapy and is immuno-suppressed, she doesn't need me infecting her. And we don't need the anti vaxxers infecting us with their stupidity.

6 hours in. All good so far. Light soreness in shoulder. Got both shots in same shoulder. Other than that only the bandaid is evidence of getting the shots.

So far…
Good luck. I go tomorrow and I am scared. I always get a bad headache, but once I got a weird rash up my arm and my lymph nodes popped out. It was all worth it. I've had two vaccinations and two boosters so I obviously believe in them! Oh...I did not schedule my 'flu shot for the same day since I react poorly (headache wise) to the covid 19 vaccinations.

It did nothing to me.

I got my bivalent a few weeks ago. Just a sore arm. Would have been willing to put up with worse to help mitigate the real thing.

Much envy. Too soon after getting COVID and allergic to Flu shots here.
