Well i went to this meeting where people try to get other people into their buisness. Now what this buisness is is people advertise products into going into this buisness its a e-comerce buisness that people run. People advise people to go on it and whatever you buy, the person that refered you gets 3%. so the main idea of it would be to spread your name as much as you can.

Now in general this looks like a good idea, there is a 200 dollar start up fee and maybe some other fees that I am unaware of. This I guess would benefit everyone because the company sells more and the people get what they want.

The only thing i didnt like about this meeting was that everyone was really nice to my mother and me. It sounds kinda strange but the guy that my mom knows refered us kept a notebook and it was normal but i was able to take a sneak into it and it had all our information written down like my name her name her were we were from how many relitives we had children etc... Now it may just be me but with them being nice it seemed to me as if they were covering something up. The other thing was that they said not to go ask opinions. I was like WTF, then at the end I told the guy that I like to do my own research. He was like check these websites out. I was like ok and he kept nagging me not to look anywhere else. I was like I like independent research he was liek you use google? I was like yea and he was like you really need better sources. I was like its a search engine....

All in all i would like to see what you guys think of it. Personally I think it would be a good idea if I knew alot of people that shop online, me personally I dont so it would really be a waste of time and money for me but what do you guys think.

You're right to be wary of this,. It's a scam and the likelihood of making any money off of it is nill.
The reason they had all of your info down is so that they can personalize their sale to you. For instance when I go on a car lot they don't call me Mrs.X they call me Willow and say my name about a million times as if we're good buddies. Humans being the vain creatures we are like to think that others remember us and are interested in us and salesmen know how to use that flattery to make a sale. That was very clever of you to catch that and any time you go to make a big purchase in your life, like a car or house, pay attention to the sales pitch and take it with a grain of salt.
I'm sure these people will call your mother over and over and over, I would monitor your calls if you have call display and ignore them.

yea after just about 10 mins of research that I did i found out that the bonus they had it was a $78 bonus a month but if you work 10 hours a week then thats only $1.90 a hour!! WOW they made it seem all good like that in the presentation but then really I'm like wow I didnt even notice this to being with when they were giving the presentation becasue of how to speaker put the only 2 hours a day and you can get it. Also i figureed out that there is a 66% drop out rate i nteh first year. So continues my research and see how these people will react, now I'll just ask them really hard questions about this stuff until they just give up on me.
