Germany: 2 killed, several injured in train knife attack

it is just one attack in a long line of knife attacks in this style

Police said the attack took place as the train was approaching the Brokstedt station, a small community of around 2,000 people north of Hamburg and south of Kiel. A suspect was arrested when the train reached Brokstedt station. Multiple travelers had called the emergency services from the train.

The station was closed to allow emergency services to continue their work on site.

According to police, further details remained elusive around two hours after the attack. Neither suspected motives or reasons for the attacker's actions, nor the condition of those injured was entirely clear.

Police later added that the suspect was thought to be a young man, probably between 20 and 30, and was not thought to have been on any extremist watch lists, based on preliminary checks.

Too bad there weren't any American soldiers around.

Should we ban trains or should we ban knives?

As a rule, those attackers have come to Germany as asylum seekers.
There is a German word for them: "Schutzsuchende" = people seeking protection.

In the light of the aggressive behaviour of some of these protection seekers, now this question has been coined:
"Wer schützt uns vor diesen Schutzsuchenden = Who protects us from these protection seekers?"

What is known about the attacker so far:

A knife-wielding man described as a stateless Palestinian fatally stabbed two passengers and injured seven others on a train in northern Germany Wednesday before being grabbed by members of the public and arrested by police, officials said. The motive of the attack was not immediately known.

To be safe ban both. Maybe ban immigration from the sound of it. These crimes are pretty senseless and we keep seeing this stuff. Poor job of vetting immigrants may be part of the problem. In the US we keep seeing violent crimes by some illegal immigrants but one party absolutely doesn't want to address it. Sounds like Germany is the same.

Two people were killed and several others injured when a 33-year-old stateless Palestinian man attacked them with a knife on Wednesday on a regional train travelling between Kiel and Hamburg in northern Germany, authorities said.

The attacker had just been released from prison a few days before the attack.
And he has had 12 previous convictions for similar crimes.

Huh. Germany has the same problem with stupidity in the justice system as we do.

Who protects the protection seekers from infiltrators? Kurds are often killed in refugee camps by hardline islamists. Trouble is lots of screeners have faulty techniques including lol body language experts that are welll…. About as knowledgeable and accurate as a youtuber looking for clout

And what is the usual reaction of woke and politically correct Germans?
This: Great sympathy for the attacker - and not a thought for his victims.
That is what wokeness has come to imply.

There is a press conference going on about that case in Germany now.
I hope I can later post whether there were any results.

Why is it so impossible, to send dangerous "protection seekers" back to where they came from?

Difficulty in screening.
