It would be great if we could believe that the Russians want to assist in the eradication of Terrorist activities even in their own nation.
In order to errradicate terrorisst activity a certain amount of co-operation has to take place, especially between different nations.
The Russians have already experienced acts of terrorism on their own soil, so one must ask, why no co-operation.

Would it be too fanciful to suggest as has already been suggested, that those acts of Terrorism perpetrated in Russia were comitted, not by Terrorists as we know them, but by the State of Russia.
Litvinenko suggested this to be the case and was murdered for his efforts.
Read the report.

Anti-Terror network in motion. It doesn't just focus on terrorist activity. But many things that can lead to terrorist activity. And it is international. This is part of the "War on Terror." Chasing down the bad guys only after such activity has reached a position to harm us or an ally and only after they have murdered isn't practical and it certainly isn't prevention.
