Georgia GOP Chair Goes Full Flat-Earth, Says Globes Are Part of a Conspiracy

How to seize wealth of the donor class: Tax The Rich More.

We can do that as soon as we wrench Congress away from the donor class and claim it back for the general populace.

That requires a long process of individual action. It's delayed gratification, but there is no other practical method.

Everyone can help. Simply demand that your local town and county council pass the American Anti-Corruption Act, or a resolution in support of it. When that has passed in enough places it becomes a national issue and candidates can run on it and win without big money from the donor class. We, the people, have to get involved if we want government to answer to we, the people. It's just that simple.

We can do this. This is how. We work within the system. The only things delaying this goal are apathy and propaganda.
Many people have dealt with this same situation in the past. What is striking about this day and age is the outlets for reform have been either too small or reforms have been well too little/too late. Reforms work best in an era where slow change can happen to meet the needs of people, however, what we see now is a heavily entrenched system that is fully prepared to drag everyone into a death spiral to keep their hold on power. Such ruling class needs more than taxing, they need to be overthrown.

Covid 19 has taught me a great deal of absolutely horrid things about our society.

We should not give up on reform but i think we should also build systems of community support that operate outside the system in case reform fails and the donor class starts getting real ugly or panics.

Before Trumpism these sorts at least had two brains cells to rub together and kept quiet. Now they get elected by MAGAs.

Oh FFS... this is why Georgia is in the news all the time for all the wrong reasons. We must have the majority of morons out there that think the world is flat and only 6000 or so years old.

Yes, dictators and fascists usually declare it to be illegal to oppose them.
Opposition is one thing. Chopping people's heads off is quite another.

It's how freedom is achieved. First you try words, persuasion. If that doesn't work, you try organized peaceful protests. If that doesn't work, the protests get less peaceful.

If that doesn't work, you start killing people until you get what you need.

Logic that attempts to justify killing is almost always in error.

The pathway to wrenching government control away from the rich begins with community action. Individuals wishing to improve America should get involved with local city and county councils. Ask them if they support corruption or not. Place them on record. For corruption or against. It is that simple. Then, when they profess to be opposed to corruption, implore them to pass the American Anti-Corruption Act, or at least a resolution in support of it.

When the above is done in enough communities (and it has already been done in quite a few) it will become a national issue. Candidates may then run on an anti-corruption platform and gain support. When enough anti-corruption candidates have been elected the American Anti Corruption Act can pass at the national level.

We can get the big money out of our government. There is a clear path for how to do it. We must act. This is what we can do for America.

I have seen many Wylie Coyote/Road Runner cartoons to convince me she is right the world is indeed flat.

Yeah, I guess it's hard when we have a gazillion images of a ROUND planet coming in daily from multiple sources....geez, really? Anyone who still thinks the earth is flat needs to be in a padded room.
Or elected as a senior member of the gop. Either place is appropriate for the brain dead!
