George Zimmerman, the Florida man acquitted in the 2012 shooting death of unarmed black teenager Trayvon Martin, was sentenced to 12 months of probation after he pleaded no contest on a misdemeanor stalking charge for accusations that he threatened to feed a private investigator to an alligator.

ABC News affiliate WFTV 9 reports that Zimmerman pleaded no contest in absentia, meaning that he was never required to show up at the courthouse. During his 12-month probation period, he will be legally barred from owning a firearm.

He was contacted by a PI who was working for a production company that wanted to make a documentary about the Trayvon Martin case. The PI started contacting his family members & things got out of control, ending up with this conviction.

When are they going to throw the keys away on this clown? It seems long overdue. And when he does do the inevitable serious nefarious deed, whatever that may be, I hope every one of those judges that let him slide will pay the price.
 
Zimmerman's father is a retired judge who likely has connections within the legal system. This is why Zimmerman get's away with stuff, or gets a slap on the wrist all of the time.

If George was Black he would probably be shot dead by a cop by now.
 
Next news will be he gets caught with a weapon because the rules don't apply to George. :shrug:
