George Patton referencing the IslamoFascist Today.

George Patton attacked and lead cavalry against peacefully protesting WWI vets as the lap dog of MacArthur in direct violation of Hoover's orders.

Patton was an American Fascist.

He followed orders, but he did criticize it later.

He was actively encouraging MacArthur to encourage Truman by proxy. Either way, he was anxious to hit the Soviets basically right after V-E day.

Patton had no conversations or correspondence with MacArthur during WW ll.

Who? I mentioned Mac and Patton. Mac disobeyed orders directly from Hoover, Eisenhower was disgusted by the Mac's actions. If Patton followed Mac's order, he knew he was doing so in violation of Hoover's order.

Patton was a very skillful movie. George C Scott was an excellent actor. Among his best movies were "They Might Be Giants" and "Flimflap Man."

His best was Dr. Strangelove, which is probably in the top 10 movies ever. The Hustler is also brilliant.

"Dr. Strangelove..." is my favorite Cold War movie. George C. Scott played Gen. 'Buck' Turgidson which portrayed General Curtis LeMay in real life.

Slim Pickens is always good in any role he plays. He played Maj. 'King' Kong in the movie who rode the nuclear bomb as it dropped from the B-52.

What's the point in hating on Patton now? These lefties will root around for anything they can find to hate.

If it were up to Patton, there wouldn't have been a post-war America. He was actively encouraging Truman to immediately go after the Soviets.
He was not the only ones that wanted to.

I always remember that scene in the movie of listing everything that was in the survival kit. Back in the day, you could have a damn good time in Vegas.

Sorry if stating simple facts about the guy is "hating."

It never ceases to amaze me that delusional leftist opinions such as calling an American patriot like General George Patton, admired even by his enemies, as a "kind of an asshole" not an example of hate. Especially when General Patton's hypothetical speech, correctly mimics his inimitable style exposing the puke filled leftists' enabling agenda of the Islamofascist swine who seek to destroy us.

is it odd that patton died when his jeep crashed, and the war was almost over?

patton was a great wartime general, but he would have never survived post war america.

The war was over when Patton died.

I find hypothetical statements from nearly 70-years-dead famous people about current events, concocted out of thin air, to be a solid basis on which to form policy.

90% of what people say on the internet is not true - Abraham Lincoln.

Hoover ordered The Bonus Army cleared out. Which of Hoover's orders were disobeyed?
