Here are Obama's Picks for his top Military Brass.....Dempsey gets rewarded just like Susan Rice.

President Barack Obama moved Monday to seal an overhaul of his national security team, selecting Army Gen. Martin Dempsey as the next Joint Chiefs of Staff chairman amid protracted battle in Afghanistan, U.S. involvement in the NATO-led effort against Libya's Moammar Gadhafi and a winding down of the war in Iraq.

The president also announced he has chosen Navy Adm. James Winnefeld to succeed Cartwright as vice chairman of the Joint Chiefs and Army Gen. Ray Odierno as his candidate to replace Dempsey as Army chief of staff.

The nominees have to be approved by the Senate, and Obama voiced hope that could happen in a timely fashion.....snip~

Update: is that Johnny Quest McCain has now stated he will attempt to block. So I think we can expect to see Graham join in, Right away.

If it is an Obama appointment, you can guarantee they probably aren't the right person for the job.....just saying....

Heya DT.

Not only that.....it is showing too. As his foreign policy is a shambles. Now he is playing catch up.

Kerry
Hagel
Rice

Moreover it's not just with the TOP Brass either. Whoever gets in for the Republicans. Will have to purge all of Obama's Appointments and his lackeys promotions and picks. Even to the simplest commanders. Same deal with all Intel Agencies.

Yep, sure will.

Is there actually a factual basis for opposing the General's appointment?
