Gays Have Become Big Bullies

Last I checked, facts don't care about your feelings. Fact: gay people exist and we can't change who we are. Feelings: you don't like gay people because of your interpretation of Scripture.
Homosexuality is like abortion. You don't have to be religious to be uncomfortable about it.

Has amyone or the OP actually explained the content of these LGBT "commercials"?

I like Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives (Guy Fieri is an adolescent frat boy but some of the recipes are very good). I've cooked more than a few, or the various cooking shows on PBS Create. Frontline, Austin City Limits, and Independent Lens are good.

Sports for me is the Tour De France (sweaty guys in spandex, YUM) and maybe Olympic events like skating. The First 48 Hours crime show can be entertaining if I'm in the right mood.

Check out Guy's Grocery Games sometime. He's pretty funny in that.

Sounds like a victim complex.

"....You would never berate an Indigenous person for refusing to watch a John Wayne movie."

Interesting comparison.

Of course you would chose John Wayne. He is "the" tough guy of tough guys on screen, man among men.

And a complete prick.

A Korean war veteran once told me that any officer that treated his men shouting angry orders would be the first casualty. He is an icon of the fifties, a time when women had no freedom, hoop skirts and child raising. Even the story of Amelia Earhart frightened the male over lords.

The world has moved on. John Wayne is a bad joke, his westerns stand as the worst propaganda and racism toward natives.

But he's your only reference of the arts....................

You didn't reply to me...
He/she was pulling a "beefheart" by trying to get me mad enough to say something to get suspended. That's what people do when they are losing debates.

But, you got suspended....

I've never seen him and couldn't care. Before my time.

I am uncomfortable about a black man dating a white woman in a commercial. It is a sin! Why should I be forced to see such filth!

Does that sound silly to you?

Why are you uncomfortable with what two legal aged and unrelated adults do?
Just imagine two girls naked in a bed touching each other! Imagine a guy touching another guy's you know what. Spend all day imagining it. I'm not gay but I just imagine it. Now you try let's imagine it all together now

And to continue that comparison...no one else needs to care if other people are 'uncomfortable about it.'

It's none of their business

It wasn't very long ago that gays complained about bullying but now that they have the woke upper hand, they are just fine being the bullies.
I have other examples coming in future posts but I will start the thread with this one:
I arrived at the movies early today and sat through a dozen commercials before the previews began. The commercials were promoting products of course, but 3 of them weren't. They were promoting LGBTQ issues because every month is gay pride month. There were no commercials promoting religion, the pro-life movement or the Second Amendment. There were none promoting atheism, the pro-choice movement or more restrictive gun laws.
Why is that? The answer is easy. It's because nobody on either side wants that stuff crammed down their throats when they just paid to be entertained. Nobody wants to pay money to have someone tell them how to feel, think, talk and act. In fact, I've never seen a pre-movie commercial with those 6 other things I listed.
So, how are gays getting away with it? Because they are bullies. As the classic book Animal Farm proves, if a group of living things has an opening to be bullies, they will take it.
You have taken victimhood to new lows. Someone should make a commercial about that. Are you really that afraid of turning gay? That could mean you are and as Seinfeld said "Not that there is anything wrong with that. " ;)

Are these two naked girls doing it on a commercial or a movie that I specifically sought out to see? If it's a commercial then we have an issue of showing nudity and sex on a commercial. If it's a movie, I'm actually not really bothered by it. I'm certainly not going to a forum and tell everybody that I was bullied by a lesbian sex scene in a movie.

The gay bullies are on a roll. They just keep winning and winning. Not too long ago they forced the Hallmark Channel to do a gay movie even though the vast majority of their viewers didn't want it. My wife and I chose not to watch that movie. I would imagine they have made more, so we simply read the guide channel to make sure we are watching a straight romance. But the bullies still weren't happy. They are now forcing Hallmark to put a token gay relationship in every episode in addition to the main straight couple. Hallmark will likely never make another movie without at least one gay couple in it.
Tonight we decided to watch that new series Monarch with Susan Sarandon and Trace Atkins. It's about a fictitious married queen and king of country music. That should be safe, right? A few minutes into the series debut we see gays with tongues down each other's throats on stage in a redneck bar. The rednecks break out in support and applaud...certainly not a realistic reaction.
Has California passed a law that states nothing can come out of the entertainment industry without homosexuality represented? And a serious question to you liberals....would you support that law?

I dont really care to see major displays of public affection (PDAs) for straight or gay couples. Hold hands, quick kiss, hug, sure, that's fine.

But I dont see any difference between straight people and gays doing so...just in my personal opinion...keep more than that private. But the world doesnt revolve around me and people in the US have few limits on their PDAs 🤷 Oh well, I guess I'll avert my eyes, even on TV maybe pick up my book, until it's over if I dont want to see it.

Why do you seek to control other's behavior when you (I assume) can control your own? Look away, not worry about it, change the channel, etc. You admitted you'll boycott such things...there ya go.

We should force the baker to sell something he doesn't want to sell.
While we are at it, we should force owners of Muslim book stores to sell porn and Bibles.
LOL No one is forcing anyone to be a baker. If they don't want to bake cakes they should close up shop.

As a gay guy, would it bother you if everything that Hollywood put out had an anti-gay theme? Would it bother you if anti-gay bullies had a stranglehold on the entertainment industry?

That's not the same. "Anti" is hate, intolerace, exclusion, etc. And since it's not the norm in American society, why would it end up making $$ in Hollywood? ("stranglehold")

I don't watch the Hallmark channel because it's so insipid. I don't watch Lifetime either.....Their programming is very predictable.
It is but it's strangely compelling sometimes. My mother in law in her last months/years watched those channels all the time. We visited her several times a week, and you always knew the pretty woman would end up with the nice man, the dog lover, the kind one who was good to people and the animals and etc., but then how does the self absorbed greedy jerk who hates dogs get told to take a hike? 🤪

I've never turned it on at home, but it sure beat Fox News or CNN as entertainment as we visited.
