Probably for the same reason not everyone is a victim of crime but others are. Not everyone will be subjected to everything, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

There are no 'gods', imagined or otherwise. Anyone who thinks differently and believes that praying and genuflecting actually achieves anything, is a delusional, brainwashed fool. I was raised in a Catholic family and figured out the absurdity of 'faith' before my teens. Hallelujah!

I have other examples coming in future posts but I will start the thread with this one:
I arrived at the movies early today and sat through a dozen commercials before the previews began. The commercials were promoting products of course, but 3 of them weren't. They were promoting LGBTQ issues because every month is gay pride month. There were no commercials promoting religion, the pro-life movement or the Second Amendment. There were none promoting atheism, the pro-choice movement or more restrictive gun laws.
Why is that? The answer is easy. It's because nobody on either side wants that stuff crammed down their throats when they just paid to be entertained. Nobody wants to pay money to have someone tell them how to feel, think, talk and act. In fact, I've never seen a pre-movie commercial with those 6 other things I listed.
So, how are gays getting away with it? Because they are bullies. As the classic book Animal Farm proves, if a group of living things has an opening to be bullies, they will take it.

The left is always talking about fair, but they don't know what fair, equality or equity is. It is whatever they say it is, and that changes hour to hour.

I don't think this is coming from the right wing if it was it would be plastered across the news it was. I remember a gay couple being refused a cake by a bakery for their wedding because the bakery was owned by a Christian person and they didn't support same-sex marriage and this was a national story for three and a half years probably worldwide.

There was a hate crime as in someone was an actual victim of something and it was caused by somebody that could be labeled the Trump supporter I probably know everything about the person including where they live what their favorite color is and so forth. So I'm betting a lot of these anti-lgbt things are happening within the black community I've lived in Black communities known a lot of LGBT people who are black and black community is very uninviting toward them.

So if there are hate crimes happening where someone's an actual victim of something they probably aren't getting reported on because they don't fit the narrative.

I remember the same thing happening with anti-asian hate crimes it was the biggest problem we faced up until the videos went viral and it exposed the aggressors in these situations were predominantly black.

So the cartoon is stupid not because it's a cartoon but because it depicts false events it is propaganda.

Sure why not? They paid for their air time. I'm not so mentally susceptible that it will affect me.

There are Christian sects that dont bother to hide their agendas of hate, intolerance, repression, and misogyny...why would you consider those Muslim 'ads' any different? Their advertising is esp. evident during campaigns.

My wife and I chose not to watch that movie. I would imagine they have made more, so we simply read the guide channel to make sure we are watching a straight romance. But the bullies still weren't happy. They are now forcing Hallmark to put a token gay relationship in every episode in addition to the main straight couple. Hallmark will likely never make another movie without at least one gay couple in it.
Tonight we decided to watch that new series Monarch with Susan Sarandon and Trace Atkins. It's about a fictitious married queen and king of country music. That should be safe, right? A few minutes into the series debut we see gays with tongues down each other's throats on stage in a redneck bar. The rednecks break out in support and applaud...certainly not a realistic reaction.
Has California passed a law that states nothing can come out of the entertainment industry without homosexuality represented? And a serious question to you liberals....would you support that law?

People that write for television like this sort of thing. I'm a gay guy and I find some of it ham fisted. The worst is horror. Not that you are into that sort of thing
