I am not sure why they are terrified of trans people, usually, it's only trans females, because many of them fail to understand that trans guys exist, but for some reason, they are and they have decided to lash out in a way that includes assault and killing them. The idea of a socialist atheist trans female must be the devil incarnate to conservatives. Maybe there is evidence that Hillary, Nancy, and Bernie are shapeshifting trans socialists who dine on fetus burgers from Planned Parenthood at the underground pizza shop, and this super-secret agenda is all funded by George Soros.

I can only think that heterosexual guys are attracted to trans women but are afraid to admit it, or they have trans feelings themselves and think that they have been able to sublimate them so everyone else should too. I never understood this, but I have the strong suspicion that the conservative media have portrayed trans people to be the core of the current social problems. Maybe these conservative knuckle draggers think that this is just the tip of the iceberg and if they don't stop this then 50% of Americans will be trans in the next decade, despite the facts.

I wasn't aware of the trans situation in the UK until Abigail Thorn came out on Philosophy Tube. She has been very vocal about how bad the situation is both politically and with the NHS.

EDIT, I just remembered the trans female person I knew about 2 decades ago and she was very homophobic. Its not that she hated TERFs or was a TERF but she was a extreme religious fundamentalist, who was deep in the closet and hated that she was trans because of her parents hateful fundamentalist religious beliefs. I took her to a gay bar so she could see what the LGBT community was like on the night of a drag show and I thought that she was going to get beat up because of her homophobia. I found her a therapist but she never went. I lost track of her about 20 years ago when she got mad at me for sending her a B-day card and using her femme' name at her apartment.

We have a great example on this very forum with Lisa claiming that sex is only about the physical act and does not differentiate male/female. She is not doing that in a vacuum. Its common in trans circles.

I did not erase the existence of sex. You should tell the truth, if even occasionally. I have stated many times that sex is an act of mating. That is why we use the terms sexual orientation for who a person is sexually attracted to.

Gender is the male or femaleness of a person either biologically, which is what you call sex, or their psychological gender identity.
