This is a very serious matter.

I think that some gay people are starting to realize that in the coming decades, the new majority of the American people may NOT be especially friendly toward gay people.

It is even possible that some gains made by gay people in recent decades will be rolled back by the end of this century.

It is time that other groups also start questioning their loyalty to the Democratic Party, which -- with the Speaker of the House's disgraceful kneeling -- has become an extremist organization dedicated to the interests of only a few groups, not to the entire American population.

Either way, according to this poll, there is movement in the gay community towards Trump. The percentage of gay men who voted Republican in 2016 was in the high teens.

I do not depend on single polls. By "give it up" it means stop getting excited about every little bump that comes from some far flung corner. Trump may win the EC again but it is a myth that he's broadly popular. His base is solidly old and white with a handful of Cuban exiles in Florida and the odd black or gay dude. That is not going to change and it will never be enough to win the popular vote.

By all means keep your belief and vote for who's best for you but stop pretending more people are coming on board. His administration has been terrible for minorities and the LGBTQ community. Trump will lose the popular vote by at least the same margin as last time - bank on it.

Also look up using Christ's name in vain. That word, I do not think it means what you think it means...
