I have an old tattered copy of"OMNI" magazine from the early 80s that did a great pre-aids survey of both Lesbian and Gay communities.It showed how the "Coolidge effect" manifested itself in the different communities at that time.
The story is told how president Coolidge and his wife received separate tours of a chicken farm,when Mrs. Coolidge witnessed a rooster on a hen she asked the guide with her"How many times a day does he do that?" and the guide replied"I am not sure ,but it is many many times Mrs.Coolidge".She chuckled and asked that he tell the president this,Which he did.The president also chuckled and quickly asked in response;"yes but is it with the same hen every time?"."oh no Mr.President" came the reply,and The president retorted"please tell my wife that!"
Obviously we are wired differently, and Men's focus is on the distribution of the man's particular DNA.In the gay community,without men accommodating the nurturing and monogamous attributes of the women,certainly it is more promiscuous.This study goes on to compare the amount of pornography in these communities,almost none for the lesbians at this time.It is postulated that this has to do with the difference in how we focus our sexuality.I think most men would choose more than one partner if they were not restrained by culture and religion.It seems kind of unfair to single out gay men,they have the same drives as the Heterosexual men!

I have found that straight men are FAR more into ponography than gay as well BTW. It has nothing to do with gay.

But you have not explained why we don’t see straight “bug chasers”, until you do, my point stands and is one of many examples that proves homosexuals are more promiscuous.

I just saw that this person was banned but I'd like to add a little information. There are straight "bug chasers", so to speak. In the pharmacy I saw far more straight women coming in for treatment for STD's given to them by men... alot of times the same handfull of men. Alot of thier desire to give another HIV who doesn't have it is so they have someone they can have unrestrained sex with...i.e. no condoms. Two men who know what it's like to have sex with and with out a condom... you get people coming up with labels like "bug chasers". It's the same line women hear from men...well usually boys... "It doesn't feel the same... please baby...just let me put the tip in". It has nothing to do with gay.
The number of babies born, if counted "by tip", would be staggering. LMAO

Although I am alarmed by the gay community right now.. I hear theories that now that they have a "cure" they don't have to worry. All they have to do is speak to someone on that "cure", the side effects are aweful and unpredictable. Which brings my pet peave...irresponsible people who are bi. Alot of HIV has been giving to women who don't know their man is on the down low with other men. I don't understand bi people but I respect them and thier right to be who they are as long as they are responsible.

Funny, because from my personal stereotypes, straight men are much more promiscuous. It might just be the gay men I know, though.....
