Go Gavin!Gavin Newsom targets Fox News for $787 million in a defamation lawsuit
California Gov. Gavin Newsom filed a multimillion-dollar lawsuit agains Fox News on Friday, accusing host Jesse Watters of defamation by falsely claiming that Newsom had lied about a phone call with President Donald Trump during a dispute over the use of the National Guard in Los Angeles.
The lawsuit, seeking more than $787 million and filed in Delaware Superior Court, claims that Fox "operates as a propaganda machine for President Trump’s radical right-wing agenda," citing the nearly $800-million settlement the network reached with Dominion Voting Systems in 2023 over its coverage of the 2020 election, which Trump lost.
The lying scum at Faux are getting sued yet again.
May they go broke paying the damages.

It would be nice to see them go off the air.
It would be nice if sane adult educated Americans finally targeted their advertisers with meaningful boycotts. It would be nice to see them go off the air.
For the simpletons who can't read that:"LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWFFFFFFFFFAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRE!!!!"
Gavin Newsom has furthered the decline of California both as mayor and as Governor. His policies have been costly, created a huge deficit in California and for the most part have been unsuccessful. He's a slick talking left winger who wants to be President . Lord help us if that man gets into the WH. He's suing because people are telling the truth about him and he can't deal with it.Gavin Newsom targets Fox News for $787 million in a defamation lawsuit

The dominian suit has no bearing on whether they defamed Newsom. Which in my opinion would be hard to do considering the unprofessional way he conducts himself. French Laundry for lunch anyone?

Lawfare!
It would be nicer if when protestors stage their protests they would confine themselves to spaces that don't interfere with lawful traffic flow and don't interfere with people who have to get to work. They also should always keep their hands, saliva, and any liquids or aerosols they may have brought to themselves. Those of you who would like may boycott anytime you choose, just don't buy it.It would be nice if sane adult educated Americans finally targeted their advertisers with meaningful boycotts.
The sane adult educated Americans don't result to such BS.It would be nice if sane adult educated Americans finally targeted their advertisers with meaningful boycotts.
Not as nice as if it were CNN and MSNBC and toss in a few others but those two are good places to start. It would be nice to see them go off the air.
Well we know this is bullshit on its face. He is suing because FOX is telling LIES about him. If they were telling the truth, the last thing he would want is enshrining that into a legal decision.Gavin Newsom has furthered the decline of California both as mayor and as Governor.
