It seems you said he said that an assassination of Blair was the equivalent of killing terrorists.
However, it also seems that Galloway said no such thing. AFAICT, Galloway said that an assassination of Blair was akin to ordering the deaths of innocents. But, you know me, I'm always a nitpicker for things like thinking 'innocent people' does not equal 'terrorists.'
Carry on. We all know that the Galloway quote didn't actually say:
"It would be entirely logical and explicable — and morally equivalent to ordering the deaths of thousands of innocent people in Iraq as Blair did."
It really said:
"Killing Blair, and killing terrorists are the same, both are justified"
The actual words that Galloway used were just to mask what he was really saying. Glad you were here top set us striaght about that. We might have gone by merely what he actually said instead if your very creative, bold and insightful interpretation.
Carry on.
You've made no mistake in your textual analysis.
And, ftr, I really don't give a roasted rat's *** about Galloway. I'm just amused at the wide variety of interpretations of what he said. It seems great there's variance from the actual text.
