I don’t think Trump is illiterate or stupid. I think he is just an incredibly lazy person who thinks he already knows everything there is to know. About everything. Plus, it appears he has the attention span of a gnat if he’s not doing the talking. It takes a little concentration and dedication to actually read and comprehend reports or presentations, and he’s got none of that.

Whether you are right, or I am right, both conclusions are a sad statement on the President of the United States.

First of all, that fake news media nonsense about Gabbard trying to change the PDB into a video to get Trump to watch it has been debunked by the administration. It is simply a lie.

But more important is the reason Trump doesn't bother with the PDB. That reason is...he just can't trust the Intel Community. The IC is one of the last bastions of anti-Trump deep state left in the executive branch. Heck, that's why Gabbard has been firing people left and right lately.

It's amazing the stories people can come up with. That was amazing. I salute you.

But the reality is, Taco isn't running this country. He doesn't even know what's actually going on with it. He isn't briefed, and during the few times he is, it's seriously dumbed down...which means...anything could be happening in his administration or the nation and he'd never know it.

He's not running the show.

He's just not capable anymore.

Even his own administration knows it. They don't even try to speak to him about complicated subjects anymore. It's just: don't have briefings until it's been a hella long time, and when we do, don't tell the president much. He literally can not handle it.

"Oh, he can't trust them" is flat-out lame. The bottom line is the president of the United States is not being briefed. He does not know what is going on in his own nation except for what he reads on Twitter.
