After years of political dominance, Republican voters now view their party as divided and say they are not satisfied with the choice of candidates seeking the Republican presidential nomination in 2008, according to the latest New York Times/CBS News poll.
In a survey that brought to life the party’s anxieties about keeping the White House, Republicans said they were concerned that their party had drifted from the principles of Ronald Reagan, its most popular figure of the past 50 years.
Forty percent of Republicans said they expected Democrats to take control of the White House next year, compared with 46 percent who said they believed a Republican would win. Just 12 percent of Democrats said they thought the opposing party would win the White House.
Remember the days that the GOP walked together like the Soviets in a May Day Parade? Seems that the times they are a changing. I'm curious to know from the Republicans in this Forum if they are feeling this anxiety too?

I think the big difference is that Democrats have several "Rock Stars" who truly represent the mainstream Democratic party while the GOP don't have any.I'm personally not really dissatisfied with the Republican candidates thus far. It's more I'm just not overly excited about any of them. They're quite a boring group so far.
As it looks now 2008 is going to be a great year if you're a Democrat and a depressing one if you're not....

Quite an assumption to believe that Giuliani will even get the GOP nomination. You also didn't stack Rudy up vs. Obama like Zogby did:Can't imagine how anyone could get that impression. . .
