It's the lie they wanna hearNo one's talking about border encounters. We're talking about the RW lies about illegals voting. They simply don't vote. So, it's all lies. Your deflection is duly noted.
That is not true at all.
In fact the federal government can.
You are wrong and you know it. What you mean is “the regime approves of illegal aliens voting and will allow” not that they can’t ban it.
it’s purely a stepping stone to giving them full ballots, if they’re not already, I doubt that they would do anything to verify someone’s status if they asked for the “full ballot” anyway.
Far from the U.S.-Mexico border, Ohio’s Senate primary shows how the Republican obsession with the fiction of a stolen election has spawned a new cause for fear of illegal immigration.[...]...the resurgence of the issue on the right has come with a new twist: Republican leaders and candidates are increasingly claiming without basis that unauthorized immigrants are gaining access to the ballot box.Leaders of the right have found that simply repeating lies over and over make them true in the minds of their followers. So this new ploy will certainly work just as well as the repeated evidence-free lies about a "stolen election" has worked.
Voter fraud is exceptionally rare, and allegations that widespread numbers of undocumented immigrants are voting have been repeatedly discredited. Yet that fabricated message — capitalizing on a concocted threat to advance Mr. Trump’s broader lie of stolen elections — is now finding receptive audiences in more than a dozen states across the country, including several far from the U.S.-Mexico border. This is why talking to many Republicans is so frustrating. Facts mean nothing. Evidence means nothing. There is no, "wait. Does that make sense? What evidence is there to back up this claim?" If it's being "reported" on Fox and parroted by GOP politicians, then it must be true!
....part of the reason its hard to catch is that its exceedingly rare. Only 1365 known instances in 40 years (out of nearly 2,000,000,000 votes). No voter fraud is a white collar crime and extremely hard to catch and prove
The GOP loves creative invention; remember the 'caravans' of illegal migrants 'invading' the border, according to Trump? The right-wing Heritage Foundation who document and keep a close watch on these accusations of voter fraud, found 1,365 proven instances of voter fraud resulting in 1,173 criminal convictions, since 1982! No mention of Trump's 'millions and millions'....This is not new. They bring it up every election cycle and there are only ever a handful of verifiable cases. Meh.

what a couple of dickhead governors...The GOP loves creative invention; remember the 'caravans' of illegal migrants 'invading' the border, according to Trump? Never happened.
What happened to the migrant caravans?
Nearly a year after migrant caravans captured the nation's attention and drew the ire of President Donald Trump, they appear to have fizzled out, marking yet another shift in their ever-evolving immigration policy narrative.edition.cnn.com
Republican President Ronald Reagan gave amnesty to millions of illegals. The so called 'issue' of illegals voting is just more fear mongering from the far right to gin up their base.
The fact that voter fraud in general is very rare, and illegals voting is almost not existent, does not stop the GOP from fearing mongering this falsehood. And for the far righties that only get their 'news' from Fox, newsmax, or the like they do not know they are being fed utter BS.
Because that would be illegal.G.O.P. Concocts New Fake Threat: Vote Fraud by Undocumented Immigrants
Allowing illegals to vote in local elections is already a thing in several places. Why wouldn't they worry about its expansion geographically and to national elections?

They need to send them back to Texas and Arizona.
I've yet to see even legal immigrant hispanics vote at my polling place and the nearest town here in Indiana is 40 percent hispanic. I've been told one of the reasons is there is so much corruption in Mexico they don't trust the system enough to bother voting.Agreed. I've had a number of neighborhood friends who've said they don't even walk past the polling places on election day, for fear of coming under any scrutiny. No undocumented person in their right mind would risk deportation for anything as unrewarding as casting a single ballot.
Yeah - the notion that illegals are voting en masse is nothing short of ridiculous. Some of them spend their entire life's savings, and risk great hardship, just to get here. Risking deportation to pull a lever, or punch a chad?!!? Yikes!I've yet to see even legal immigrant hispanics vote at my polling place and the nearest town here in Indiana is 40 percent hispanic. Pretty tough to vote illegally anyway as you have to be on a list and show I.D.
It's not one party's job to ensure election integrity, it is the job of the poll workers. However the GOP is passing laws to allow state legislators power of various elected polling officials and Secretary of State positions. So while I guess neither party is responsible for election integrity, one party is clearly trying to compromise it as we have had little election/balloting fraud in the past. And if they did the Democrats certainly wouldn't have stopped them.
True.New? They've recycled that idiocy far too many times already.
Because they aren't citizens. They pay taxes and live in the US so why not
And you suggest that government doesn't do anything illegal?Because that would be illegal.
