Fury after sanders endorses clinton... Bernie betrays... Fans fume...

What is even more interesting is that Sanders, a member of the new ideas party [SUP]tm[/SUP], apparently is going to bring really progressive ideas to the table like taxpayer paid for college(because that is totally new and stuff and totally isn't just an extension of an idea that has existed for more than two thousand years) and taxpayer paid for healthcare(again totally new stuff here), and honestly believes in those things it would seem, and yet, democrats are going to go for the woman that is a corporatist and only supports welfare, high taxation for the rich, and things like minimum wage to get elected. It's actually pretty amazing.

Yes, it is....

Allow the some self-respect and hope they all vote Green. The irony of Hillary losing for the same reason that first got Bill elected (3rd party splitting the vote) would be too sweet for words...

ok...

Oh Jesus, this **** again? The party gathers around the nominee, and that goes for the nominee's ex rivals. Even Trump's rivals are struggling to contain their bile by doing the same. This is how the sausage is made.

And liberals have a lot of hidden fat, salt and cholesterol...... in their sausage!

Oh, I agree he's a full tribalist. He's the GOP equivalent of every Democrat who is angry about CEO salaries, but not about Clinton's speeches, or Soros' money. It's always somehow okay when it's "Us'ns", and wrong when it's "Them'ns".

And I think you know full well that I do not do that kinda ****. I got no problem with people making as much as they are able, even when I do not like those people.

That being said, the idea that people bought Clinton speeches because they came with access and influence, rather than the scintillating, informative, brilliant content of the speeches isn't exactly what you call "highly speculative".

I admit to not having full knowledge of the topic, but keeping up with claims about Clinton is next to impossible, and as most of the ones I did kinda follow all turned out to be stupid bull****, I no longer even try nor care.

Oh yeah - it was a generally aimed comment.

As a rule of thumb, when the Right Wing Rag Hack Job Attacking The Democrat is the New York Times, I think we are at least past "wild" speculation.

Politically, short term, it doesn't really matter because Republicans nominated someone equally odious. But I worry long term about the health of our body politic.

My point being though, that you are talking to me. I do not pull that ****, it ain't my fault.

I do not play the "right wing source" card much(hell, I use FOX news myself), and when I do, it is for pretty odious sources(WND, Gateway Pundit), and I condemn every one's use of editorials and opinion pieces. I do expect more than "some one claims" or "anonymous sources", because those do not have good track records.

And as far as the "health of our body politic", I think this too will pass. We as a country and a way of government have survived much worse.

Not at all - I was comparing him to another tribe whom I figured you found equally annoying, simply pointing out that the problem wasn't just Mickey, the problem was people.

Whom, it is worth noting, I am respecting less and less.

;) National Review.

 I'm not sure there's a sharp distinction anymore. You can have opinion journalism, or journalistic opinion. I'm fine with someone making their ideological tendencies known up front - if anything, at least they are honest about where they are coming from.

Which is not a way of saying that we have always been healthy, only worse :)

Our nation is politically bifurcating, and losing a common ground. We are balkanizing into information bubbles that protect us from uncomfortable information, making our decision-making worse. Just as bad, politics is downstream from culture, and our culture is reality tv, celebrity worship, and click-bait outrage-generation machines. There's a real possibility that this year's candidates (both of whom are atrocious) may not be an aberration, but the model of things to come.

Dwayne, "The Rock", Johnson might run next time. All he needs to do first is star in a pornography film, and our conversion to the Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Herbert Camacho administration will be complete.
