From 2009-2011 IRS agents had more AD's than Intentional

The TIGTA audit shows 8 intentional discharges and 11 accidental. 3 of the AD's "may have" resulted in property damage or personal injury. Assuming that the 11 AD's were all different individuals that's 2% of the IRS "gun club" that screwed up over the course of 2 years. That seems like a pretty doggone big percentage to me.

Not a big surprise, agents and some PDs tend to score horribly compared to non LEO individuals in most firearms proficiency areas. This doesn't obviously include every LEO on an individual basis, but overall the profession has a horrid gun safety record.
