French MPs paid from Russian coffers for Crimea propaganda trip?

3 August 2016

So how much do French parliamentarians take for their collaboration and propaganda services in justifying the invasion and occupation of the invasion and occupation of Ukrainian Crimea and muffling grave human rights abuses? Why are French elected representatives taking money from a Foundation almost certainly funded by Moscow? As reported, the group of 11 MPs, 10 from Nicolas Sarkozy’s Republican Party and one ex-socialist, had begun praising developments in Russian-occupied Crimea, justifying Russia’s annexation and denying internationally recognized rights violations in the occupied peninsula while still in Moscow, before travelling illegally to Crimea last Thursday. On August 1, they were back in Moscow and, of course, sharing only glowing ‘impressions’....

If the Russians paid me and sponsored an all expense paid trip to Crimea I would give a glowing impression too. ;)

I wonder if you would also go for an all-expense paid trip to Raqqah. You know, sun and sand for a bit of ISIS propaganda ;)

Seriously though, these French MPs are violating EU sanctions and UN Resolution 68/262 ... which the French government voted for in the affirmative.

Due to both their publicly available posting records and complete lack of any integrity when it comes to facts, it seems therefore, highly likely that these supposed fighters for human rights activists are receiving Ukrainian or US state funding. As, of course, are the main MSM and minor media outlets, which constantly make such a big thing of everything Russia related, even if it is completely fake. Additionally, same people and sources constantly deny or ignore any inconvenient information or facts that don't fit their narrative, especially when it comes to human rights, murders, military activities and etc in Ukraine... /s

See how easy it is to write such crap, just make a barrage of incoherent and often baseless accusations "support" it with a lot of "ifs" and question marks, and voila here is an article ready to be spread by mindless drones on various social media platforms.

EDIT: You know Simpleχity, the worst thing is that it seems that at some point you actually started to believe in all the crap that you're positing here ...

Fallen.

Mariani (the guy in the middle of the photo) likes taking these trips during the summer time. Last summer, against the protocol of the French government, he went to visit Assad of Syria. That visit got them on the 2AM French news.

The costs of these visits are paid in part by me - and other French taxpayers.

French TV did not cover the visit, and 2/3 newspapers mentioned the visit made with some other French parliamentarians (and all on the Right of the French political spectrum).

Mariani would probably kiss Putin's ass on the Champs Elysees if the price were right; he recently excoriated Hillary for her remarks about Russia.

Ho hum - m... r... a...

Why do the French people even elect such carpetbaggers?

What country is without them?

How did I meet two, not one, American Senators and five HofR members on "Information Trips" to an American company located in France; and - after a stop-over in Paris - they insisted upon seeing our labs in the south of France (Riviera) in June. Not with their wives, who were out shopping with a "guide" (that I had provided).

Of course, I wined and dined them and their wives. Once with strict instructions as to the chosen restaurant.

Noblesse oblige ... ? ;^)

Go take a long walk off a short pier, preferably in the Crimea.

Bring Putin with you ...

Hell you can take Simpleχity with you, though at least in his case I know that it's gonna be completely useless.

Blah, blah, blah.

The Crimea is occupied by Russia, and so would be the Ukraine were it up to Putin.

The Russian Nation has moved back to the Stone Age. It never had democratic roots, and it does not now.

It has a new Tsar ...

Don't worry you are not alone, it's pretty common these days for uneducated people to spout random bs.

BTW. The one thing that is correct in your post is that Russia indeed never had a tradition of western style democracy, and yet somehow numerous "experts" still expect it to behave like Switzerland.

More sarcasm - you are one of many on this forum who depend upon sarcasm to respond.

Pathetic individuals, all of you ...

I will ask again, why do those in Crimea not have the same right to self determination as any other people on earth?

Put that question directly to Tsar Vladimir.

Watch him smirk as he waves you away ...

Not a surprise. I thought I had read a while back that Le Pen's people had received money out funds close to the Kremlin. And a one time German Chancellor that increased European reliance on Russian energy and supported Putin in siding with Saddam in the negotiations with Saddam prior to the invasion, received a very good position from Putin with the Russian energy company. This latter case is really horrible, but nobody seems to really care. So why worry about the newest schmuck?

You are right. Russia has not "moved back to the Stone Age". It has reverted to an ancient form of government albeit with modern instruments. The South American and Arab Colonels of the last century loved it: The Strongman.

Simpleχity has a very long history of spamming DP on a daily basis with numerous posts and threads about how evil Russia is in everything it does, these posts are often simply butthurt opinion pieces, articles riddled with half truths or fakes. As I've said, with time it appears that he not only started to believe in that crap, but also stopped caring about how truthful his posts actually are, instead preferring to spam DP with as many "unflattering" articles about Russia as possible in a hope that at least some of that bs will stick.

and...as I've previously mentioned here is a better suggestion for you: Go educate yourself about the conflict, or as you've suggested to me "go away"...

The point that you guys often don't get imo, is that it didn't "revert" to anything because there was not a single successful period in Russia's modern history when a "strongman" wasn't in charge.

About "reverting to ancient history"...hmm... I think that having the same family clans that rule and influence a country's politics for decades is so...middle ages. /s

Really. How interesting. But you are right that Russia has never been able to successfully innovate democratic procedure. It did have a certain period in which it seemed to be making progress. But it was incapable of sustaining the momentum.

Stop your baby-crying.

I joined DP in 2013. Anyone can check ... not a post about Russia from me until spring of 2014 when Putin invaded Crimea and Donbass.

That's how it works pal. You mess with people and they mess back.

Never once in over two years have you said Putin was wrong to invade and his forces should leave Ukraine.

So no, I don't give a rat's ass if you're offended or butt-hurt, and I'll keep on showing folks how rotten the Putin regime is.

Zero crying from me, just stating the visible and obvious facts.
I've stated multiple times that you got so caught up in your own butthurt and bs that you lost any sense of integrity or decency, using terms like ruSSians and posting fakes, and falsehoods became ok as long as it serves this weird obsession of yours. Wake up dude, you've lost your grip on reality long time ago.

BTW. What happened to your hero Savchenko that you supported so vocally here, any news about her... like maybe new hunger strikes, statements from her that you want to share?!?

BTW. 2 "You mess with people and they mess back" it is so funny that you don't see the irony here... maybe you should try applying similar logic to Russia, Crimea and Donbass.

Fallen.
